Terms and Conditions of Rental

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to **Furnitures Rent.com**. By accessing our website, registering an account, or placing an order to rent furniture and appliances, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our rental services in Kolkata.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

To rent products from our platform, customers must satisfy the following conditions:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid government-issued photo ID.
• Must provide accurate personal details, a valid residential delivery address in Kolkata, and verifiable contact information.
• Must complete the mandatory KYC verification process (Aadhaar, PAN, or employment/student ID) prior to order dispatch.

3. Rental Tenures, Payments & Billing

All rental items are billed on a recurring monthly cycle as selected during checkout. Rent must be paid in advance by the due date each month. Failure to clear monthly dues on time may result in late fees, suspension of service, or item retrieval. Security deposits, if applicable, are fully refundable upon successful return of items free from abnormal damage.

4. Delivery, Installation & Inspection

We offer free doorstep delivery and professional assembly across Kolkata within standard timelines (typically 48 hours post KYC approval). Customers or their authorized representatives must inspect all items at the time of delivery and report any discrepancies, defects, or damages immediately to our delivery team.

5. Maintenance, Care & Damage Policy

We provide free periodic maintenance for normal wear and tear on our rented items. However, the customer is fully responsible for any willful damage, structural abuse, stains, burns, or loss of items during the rental tenure. Repair or replacement costs resulting from gross negligence will be charged to the customer.

6. Upgrades, Modifications & Early Closure

Customers can upgrade their rental items or request early closure of their rental agreement subject to the terms specified in their active plan. Notice periods and early termination fees may apply depending on the chosen tenure length.

7. Return and Pickup Process

Upon tenure completion or contract termination, customers must schedule a return pickup through our support desk. Items must be handed over in good condition to our authorized logistics team after a thorough quality check at the pickup location.

8. Limitation of Liability

Furnitures Rent.com shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of rented furniture or appliances beyond the total rental value paid by the customer for the specific item.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
